Lava has launched the Lava Aura Curve 5G in India, introducing the first phone in its new Aura series aimed at offline retail customers. The phone combines a 3D curved AMOLED display with a small rear screen, a 6,000mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset.
The Aura Curve follows the Virat Curve, which arrived in online markets last month. The new Aura branding is focused on Lava’s offline retail partner network, where the phone will be sold across India for Rs 23,999 for its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
Lava Aura Curve 5G Display and Rear Mini Screen
The Lava Aura Curve 5G has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Lava lists peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits and 1,920Hz PWM dimming. The front panel is protected by Al-Si DT Star 2 cover glass under the company’s IronGuard Protection branding.
A small secondary screen on the rear is one of the phone’s main design features. Lava describes it as a segment-first addition, with support for notifications, music playback controls, battery level and custom text. Users can display a name or a short message on the rear screen.
The back panel uses a vegan leather finish and comes in Ambar Blue and Him Silver. The phone also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and is rated to MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards.
Dimensity 7100 Processor, RAM and Battery
The smartphone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, with CPU speeds of up to 2.4GHz. Lava says the phone scores over 800,000 points on AnTuTu. It has 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with an additional 6GB of virtual RAM available.
A 6,000mAh battery powers the device, with support for 45W fast charging. The company claims standby time of up to 720 hours. A 33W charger is included in the box, so the bundled adapter’s rating is lower than the phone’s supported charging rate.
Camera, Android 16 and Other Features
For photography, the rear camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX752 sensor with electronic image stabilisation (EIS) and support for 2K video recording. Camera modes include Pro Video, Night Mode, Dual-View Video, Motion Photo and Sports Mode. A 13MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The Lava Aura Curve 5G runs Android 16 with a clean interface that Lava says has no pre-installed bloatware or advertisements. The company promises two years of Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates. The phone also includes Lava’s Vayu AI features and an IR blaster for controlling compatible home appliances.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and dual-SIM support. The phone measures 8.55mm in thickness and weighs 184g.
