Truecaller Lite is a new App for Android users in India who have limited storage or memory on their phones. Truecaller launched it on October 27, 2026, as a separate app built for lower-end hardware.

The app takes about 10MB of storage and is designed to run on devices with up to 4GB of RAM. It is not a stripped-down version of the main app, but an independently developed native Android app that uses the same underlying database, fraud-detection infrastructure and privacy protocols.

Truecaller Lite Features

The Truecaller Lite features focus on caller identification and spam prevention, with an interface centred on everyday calling tasks.

• Caller identification: Shows who is calling before you answer an incoming call.
• Spam call filtering: Filters unsolicited and fraudulent calls using reports from its global user network.
• Call logs, contacts and search: Brings call logs, contacts and directory search together in one interface.
• Caller summaries: Shows caller identity summaries after incoming and outgoing calls.
• Shared protection systems: Connects to the same underlying database, fraud-detection infrastructure and privacy protocols as the standard app.

To save memory, mobile data and storage, the Lite app leaves out several features available in the standard Truecaller app. It is focused on calling and spam prevention rather than messaging or assistant tools.
