Moto Buds 2 Ultra Audio and Noise Cancellation Features

When connected to supported Motorola smartphones, users can access Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking. The Bose QuietControl ANC system adjusts noise cancellation dynamically according to the surrounding noise. A Transparency Mode is also available when users want to hear sounds around them.
Calls, AI Live Translate and Smart Controls
The setup combines three high-SNR microphones with a dedicated Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) in each earbud. Motorola says this setup supports calls, recordings and meetings.
AI Live Translate works with compatible Motorola smartphones. Users can access the Motorola Qira assistant by long-pressing the left earbud. Hands-free activation with the “Hey Qira” wake word is planned through a later software update. Head gestures are also supported: users can nod to accept a call or shake their head to reject it.
The earbuds support wear detection, which pauses audio automatically when they are removed. Dual Connection lets users connect two Bluetooth sources at the same time, while Audio Share allows two pairs of earbuds to stream from one device.
Moto Buds 2 Ultra Battery and Charging
Motorola rates the Moto Buds 2 Ultra for up to 8 hours of playback on the earbuds. The total battery life increases to up to 37 hours when the charging case is included. Each earbud has a 58mAh battery, while the case packs a 576mAh battery.
The charging case has a USB Type-C port and supports Qi2 wireless charging. Both the earbuds and the charging case carry an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance.
