Nothing has officially announced the launch of its next device under the CMF sub-brand — the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The launch will take place on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST. This will be the second smartphone in the CMF lineup, following the debut of the original CMF Phone in September 2023.
Teasers released by the company show a distinctive rear panel design featuring two large grey circles and a smaller orange one. These likely hint at a triple camera setup, possibly including a main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a dedicated portrait camera. The orange ring appears to highlight the position of the flash module, sticking to the CMF brand’s signature aesthetic.
The phone is also expected to carry forward CMF’s unique modular design approach. A close-up teaser image reveals a metallic edge with a visible screw, suggesting the back panel may be removable or customizable. The phone’s finish seems to feature a tactile texture that matches the brand’s previous design philosophy.
CMF Phone 2 Pro
Based on leaks and past rumors, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to be powered by a MediaTek chipset, likely the new Dimensity 7400. This upgrade should provide a performance boost over the previous model. The display might be slightly smaller than the original, coming in around 6.3 inches compared to the 6.67-inch panel seen in the CMF Phone 1. The signature screw attachment is expected to return, enabling users to easily customize or attach accessories such as lanyards.
