The OnePlus Ace 7 and OnePlus Ace 7 Pro have launched in China with high-end processors, a 9,000mAh battery and a flat LTPO AMOLED display. The series also brings up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage on the Pro model and a 100W SuperVOOC charging system.

The standard Ace 7 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset, while the Pro gets the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The phones are already on sale in China. OnePlus Ace 7 vs Ace 7 Pro: Differences

The Ace 7 Pro adds a periscope camera and more advanced video options, along with the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The standard Ace 7 starts at a lower price and uses an ultra-wide camera instead.

Display and Design

Both phones have a 6.78-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a standard refresh rate of up to 165Hz. In supported games, the refresh rate can reach 185Hz. The screen also supports up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM dimming and hardware low blue light.

The standard Ace 7 has a dual-gradient AG sandblasted back, while the Pro uses a 3D-etched frosted composite glass finish. Colour choices differ between the models, with black available for both.

The series uses an Ice River dual-channel active cooling fan with dual-exhaust airflow. OnePlus says the system can lower chip temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius. The company also claims an average 184.9fps in Peacekeeper Elite’s 185fps mode at 38.7 degrees Celsius, and performance in Delta Force at 40.2 degrees Celsius. These are company-reported figures.

A T3 touch chip is claimed to cut swipe latency by 80% and tap latency by 43%. Other gaming hardware includes an 800Hz gyroscope, a G3 network chip and a P4 display chip. The Ace 7 Pro also has symmetrical stereo speakers and an X-axis linear motor.

Camera

Both phones feature a 200MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS), with OPPO flagship imaging features and four portrait focal lengths. The standard Ace 7 pairs it with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view.

The Ace 7 Pro adds a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. It supports video recording at up to 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps, along with 4K live photos and a flat Log profile.

Battery and Charging

Both models pack a 9,000mAh Glacier Battery and support 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. Bypass charging can supply power directly to the phone during supported use, helping reduce battery heat while gaming.

Software
