Redmi is gearing up to introduce a new smartphone in April, promising enhanced performance and battery efficiency. While the official name is yet to be revealed, leaks suggest that the device will be called the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. This upcoming model is expected to build upon the foundation of the Redmi Turbo 4, which made its debut in January 2025.

The previous iteration featured the Dimensity 8400 chipset, but the Pro version is rumored to come with the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8s Elite. Several leaks have already hinted at its key specifications, further fueling excitement among tech enthusiasts. A recent report by tipster Experience More has reaffirmed some of these expected features.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro Specifications (Rumored)

According to leaks, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is likely to feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. While specifics about brightness levels are unknown, it is expected to come with an LTPS panel, slim bezels, and a 120Hz refresh rate for a smoother experience. Security-wise, the device may include an in-screen fingerprint scanner with short-focus technology for faster unlocking.

Under the hood, the smartphone is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, making it one of the first devices to feature this processor. It is expected to house a 7,550mAh battery, supporting 90W fast charging. Given its large battery, the phone’s weight could exceed 210 grams, slightly heavier than the standard Redmi Turbo 4, which weighs 204 grams with a 6,550mAh battery.

The build quality of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is also set to improve, featuring a metal middle frame and a glass back. The device might come with an IP68/69 rating, ensuring dust and water resistance. Additionally, reports indicate that the standard Redmi Turbo 4 may see a price cut after the launch of its Pro variant.

Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 4 and Global Variants

In international markets, the Redmi Turbo 4 has been introduced under a different name, rebranded as the Poco X7 Pro. Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco, is also expected to unveil new models, including the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra. These devices will likely be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively.

Furthermore, the Poco F7, expected to launch in May, could be a rebadged version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. With such strategic rebranding, Xiaomi continues to expand its global reach while maintaining strong competition in different markets.

Redmi’s upcoming launch in April is expected to bring a high-performance smartphone with powerful hardware and a long-lasting battery. The rumored Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, featuring the Snapdragon 8s Elite, could offer significant upgrades over its predecessor. If leaks hold true, this device could be a strong contender in the premium mid-range segment.
