Vivo X500 Series Gets BIS Certification Ahead of India Launch

• Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max have received BIS certification in India.
• The three phones are listed under model numbers V2619, V2621 and V2610.
• Vivo has not confirmed an India launch date for the upcoming flagship series.

The Vivo X500 Series has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), an important step ahead of its expected India launch. The listing covers three models: Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max.

The certification points to an India launch plan, but it does not confirm when the phones will go on sale. Vivo has not announced an official launch date. The series is also expected to compete with the OPPO Find X10 line-up in the premium smartphone segment.

Vivo X500 Series BIS Certification Details

All three Vivo X500 Series phones have appeared in the BIS certification database. The reported model numbers are linked to the three devices as follows:

• Vivo X500: V2619
• Vivo X500 Pro: V2621
• Vivo X500 Pro Max: V2610

BIS approval is a regulatory step for devices intended for the Indian market. However, it does not reveal the phones’ specifications, prices or exact sale dates.

Vivo X500 Series Could Compete With OPPO Find X10

The Vivo X500 Series is expected to compete with the OPPO Find X10 series. The reported line-up includes a standard model, a Pro model and a Pro Max model. The OPPO Find X10 range, meanwhile, is reported to skip a regular Pro model. This could give Vivo a chance to target buyers looking for a flagship phone between the standard and top-end options.

The presence of a Pro model may help Vivo offer another choice to buyers comparing premium phones. However, the certification listing does not confirm how the three phones will be positioned, what features will separate them or how much they may cost. Those details remain unknown until Vivo shares official product information.

MobileTelco has also covered the Vivo X500 Series global launch and reported specifications, as well as the OPPO Find X10 Series launch.

Vivo X500 India Launch Timeline

Vivo has not confirmed the India launch date of the X500 Series. The current expectation places the launch around the end of November. However, this timing remains an assumption, not an announcement from the company.

Vivo has also launched X series smartphones in December in recent years. The X500 line-up could therefore arrive in November or December, but the final schedule is still unknown. The BIS certification alone does not settle the launch timeline.

Until Vivo makes an announcement, both months should be treated only as possibilities. Certification is useful evidence that the models are moving through a required process for India, but it should not be read as confirmation that retail sales will begin on a particular date. Buyers will need to wait for details on availability and pricing.

Conclusion

The Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max have received BIS certification under three model numbers. This supports expectations of an India release, but Vivo has yet to confirm the launch date. More details should become clear when the company makes an official announcement. More details will be available on the Vivo India website closer to launch.
