The Sanchar Saathi Mobile app stands out as a vital tool to strengthen telecom security and empower users. Available for both Android and iOS, this app offers a range of features designed to address key challenges in the telecom sector:

• Chakshu – Reporting Fraud Communications: Easily report suspicious calls and messages directly from call logs.
• Know Mobile Connections in Your Name: Check and manage all mobile numbers linked to your identity.
• Block Lost or Stolen Devices: Quickly block and trace your lost or stolen phone, ensuring safety.
• Verify Device Authenticity: Confirm the genuineness of mobile devices to avoid counterfeit products.

With over 90 crore smartphone users in India, this app ensures that essential services are just a tap away.

National Broadband Mission 2.0

Building on the success of its predecessor, the National Broadband Mission (NBM) 2.0 seeks to revolutionize broadband access across the country, especially in rural areas. Its ambitious targets include:

Airtel, BSNL, Jio, and Vi to display real Caller ID names as government enforces new telecom regulations

• Extending optical fiber to 2.70 lakh villages by 2030.
• Providing 90% of rural households with broadband speeds of at least 100 Mbps.
• Mapping government-owned fiber networks to boost efficiency.
